“Keep building your home!”

“So I remember about 3 years ago or so on the side porch of our home these two birds were trying there best to build a nest under the awning of the porch..and to each attempt they would fail..and they can’t get the nest built because there isn’t enough room for the nest..but these little birds could care less..so day in and day out they just keep gathering up there nesting..all of the straw, hay, grass, mud whatever they can get there little claws around and they keep on trying to the best of there ability too build that nest that they’re wanting to build and so every afternoon I would go out and clean up the mess which to say the least was a lot of mess..lol..it’s honestly so very funny to me at how persistent these little ones are..Amen..but I couldn’t help but be in awe of those little birds and there determination to build their home..Amen..and so I think about us and our homes and life..and how we build our home and our lives daily..by the choices and the decisions it is that we make..the efforts we put into the home..into the building of our homes..because our home is the most important thing in this life in which we live..and yes I am speaking spiritually here..Amen..because our homes are the homes in which we live in..and when we live in a well rounded home life it is in and of itself a beautiful thing..Amen..because we work on our homes daily..each of us..we do things to give us a good home to live in..because if we are not right within ourselves..than we are never right or ever can be right with others..Amen..but when we work on our home..that inward man of ours..which at times is a messy job..Amen!”

“And at times it gets truly messy when the Lord begins digging up them roots of life that may be way down deep in our hearts..and He begins showing us areas as to where we need to grow and mature..when He begins to remove things that no longer are needed..than life and our homes in which we live gets messy..and at times we wanna give up and quit..or we get mad and angry through the process..because I will say that we never get to the place in our lives as to where we say we made it..that we have arrived..in other words we don’t need to build any longer because that is the furthest thing from the truth..because we live in a fallen world..and the Lord keeps us on our knees hungry for Him..to keep us searching for Him in our lives..to keep Him first place..in the book of Ephesians it tells us to be renewed in the spirit of our minds..Ephesians 4:23..Amen..and in the book of Romans it tells us to put off the old man and his ways..and to be renewed to become servants and yield His fruit in our lives not to live in the sinful earthly ways knowing that Christ has redeemed us and that the wages of sin is death..Romans 6:6-23..Amen!..So I do ask that we all are like them little tiny birds building there nest..and that we never quit or back away..that we hold on through growth..through mess..through trails..through hardships..through toil and turmoil..that we stay focused and that we get through the process..and daily so..until the very day the good Lord above calls us home..for life here is for but a moment..but heaven is eternal..and on that day we will see Him as He is..and we shall be like Him..1 John 3:2..and what a day that will be..Amen..so keep building your life..keep building your home..and never stop building that nest so too speak even if it doesn’t quit come together as you expected it too..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
