“So every night when Erik stops he has to do a walk around on his truck and trailer..he has to make sure the straps are okay on the load..he has to check the tires out..and make sure that the lights are all working probably..and especially the lights because if either one has a place that one should be even if its not a headlight..and its not working the DOT will pull you over or they will pull you in to get it fixed..Amen..but last night when we stopped the lights on the license plate weren’t working so Erik gets busy fixing it..he grabs up the tape..the wire cutters..and a new bulb..Amen..but I thought about us and I thought I wonder what it would look like if we as Gods children..would see everyone else’s lights dimming down and or flashing..and burning out..Amen..if we were like the light bulbs on the truck and trailer or even the ones in our homes..at how quickly you would think about changing them..and fixing them when they do burn out..because we all love light more so than anything..Amen..we wanna be able to see..even me as I am getting older now its harder to see to put my make up on..so I have me a makeup mirror..and I use the brightest light that I can because it helps me out so much..Amen..because lights are important..they keep us from stumbling around in the dark..they help us to see what is in front of us..so we can walk without getting hurt in our lives..Amen..so I know that we can’t see other people and their lights per-say..but we do know ours..Amen..we do know when we are growing a little dim..Amen..when we are not as bright as we should be..or even as we could be..Amen..but here’s the thing the light in us is a beautiful light..Amen..and God says this to us..that we are to let our lights so shine before men..that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven..Matthew 5:16..for just a little light changes everything..Amen!”

“But as well the word of God says that we are the light of the world..Amen..a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid..neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel but on a candlestick that it gives light to all that are in the house..Matthew 5:14-15..Amen..for the light that is in us helps others to see and navigate better in their own lives..when someone else’s light is dimming I do pray we recognize it..and that we take our candle along side them..and help to light their candle back..Amen..because being in the dark is not a fun place to be..Amen..because it is a scary place..we stumble and we do get lost along the way in the darkness..because being in the dark is cold..Amen..and it hurts..it is a place to where we if there begin to lose sight and vision and hope for our lives..Amen..so again pay attention to them ones in whom are around you..and share your light with them..share and shine the light and hope that is in you..because light is a beautiful thing..and when are lights are shining they shine bright through our eyes..in our souls..and in this life that we all are living..so I pray we all are well lit for Jesus..that we are shining bright as bright can be..because our light again helps others to see..and that is what makes life such a lovely place for not only us but for others..knowing that the goal is to help people be well and be whole in their lives..because we live in a hurting world..so be kinder than necessary because again everyone you meet or will ever meet in your life is fighting some kinda of battle..for we all at times can have our light bulbs changed..and have our candles relit..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
