“So Erik and I have been up since 3:30 this morning driving to deliver a load we have on our trailer..the load is going to NASA over off from Wallops Island..and is to be there at 8..but as we are going along our way and having the best morning..the sunrise was amazing..and we are just talking about how good the traffic has been..and how it would be wonderful if every where we went the traffic was just flowing and moving along..but as we get ready to cross over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to pay the toll there are tractor trailers parked all along the side of the road and they are turning them around because the wind is 40 plus miles an hour right now..and we cannot cross it..it is at a level one advisory..so we turn around a grab a place in line as we wait patiently for the winds to seize and to calm for everyone to cross on over to the other side..Amen..but I can’t help but think about the Lord with these winds that are blowing and shaking our truck right now..and I think about how our Father is always in control over us and our lives..and He always knows what’s best and He always knows where we are in life and just what we need..Amen..but my mind always thinks about the story while out in the boat on the water with His disciples and at how the Lord lay in the back of the boat and He was asleep resting and His disciples are fretting the winds and the waves that were there before their eyes..Amen..and they awake Him and say to Him do you not care that we perish?..and the Lord arose and rebuked the wind..and said to the sea..Peace be still..Amen!”

“And the word says there was a great calm..and He says to them..why are you so fearful?..how is it that you have no faith?,,Mark 4:37-40..Amen..and my heart is simply that for us all..how is it that when troubles come and the winds and the waves come and things happen that we lose sight of the Master over us and our lives?..that we lose heart so quickly in the midst of a storm or trouble that come and at times suddenly?..Amen..because guys we have Jesus..Amen..and it may feel that the Lord is in your boat of life sleeping..Amen..or that He doesn’t care..but rest assured this very day that He is there..and that He is speaking to you and your life..saying ever so gently..Peace be still..Amen..and I do pray that you hear it and that you receive it..that He calms you His child and that you rest knowing that you and your life are in God our Fathers hands..and nothing can ever take us away from Him and His love for us..for He never slumbers nor does He ever sleep..Psalm 121:4..the bible says that His eyes go to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards Him..2 Chronicles 16:9..Amen..for He knows all and He alone sees all and He is very present help in each of our times of need..Psalm 46:1…so we trust..we have faith..we believe..we fear not..and we rest..and as we rest..I do pray we all hear Him saying ..Peace be still..to each of us and to every storm and sea and wind that may be raging this very day in our lives..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
