“Yesterday morning as I was reading in my bible there is this place as to where the Lord describes His heart to us..Amen..and that caught my attention..for the Lord says ‘I Am gentle and lowly in heart..Matthew 11:29..Amen..and I think about the Lord with us..that He knows our greatest need in our lives..all of our lives..Amen..and that is for us to find rest..Amen..is that rest from life?..or rest from our job?..or rest from everything that life has given?..no..what the Lord is wanting for us all is to find rest in HIm..Amen..in our hearts..to find peace in the midst of a storm..to find contentment..1 Timothy 6:6..regardless of what is or what isn’t happening in our lives..whether there is sickness..drought..winds..waves..dryness..whether there is want..depression..sadness..regardless the Lord knows our greatest need is ‘REST’ in Him and in Him alone..Amen..for in the book of Matthew the Lord says..”Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls..for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light..Matthew 11:28-30..Amen..for you see guys that is how we get through life..Amen..we get through it with the Lord and His rest for our souls..for if we think about it that is our greatest need..and that is simply being made right on the inside of who we are..Amen..for if we are not made right on the inside than our lives we exemplify that..Amen..for you see Jesus lives on the inside of us through the Holy Ghost of God..Amen..and we show that guys through our lives..in all that we do..and in all that we say..Amen!”

“So when we’re abiding in the Lord we will show His heart through our lives that we live..Amen..for He tells us that He is meek and lowly in heart..and what does meek and lowly mean?..well, meek means patient..long suffering..gentle..Amen..a person who is peaceable and humble..Amen..and lowly means that you are free from self assertive pride..that you are humble in your manner and spirit..Amen..for you see God said He came to serve and not be served..Amen..and that as well the Lord says He resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble..James 4:6..Amen..I had heard one time that as we all are scurrying around in our lives trying to move ahead and get ahead or get recognized or whatever the case..all the while climbing that ole ladder so to speak of success..that if we stop and look back down the ladder..hypothetically speaking here..that we would see Jesus down at the bottom of the ladder..Amen..still doing the work of His Father..for the Lord is a servant to all..for in the word the Lord says that we should be a servant to all..Matthew 20:26/Mark 9:35..Amen..so I don’t know about you guys..but rest in Jesus is the best place that I want to be at in my life..and being a servant to all is the best place to live our lives from..Amen..not saying to be a door mat..but just saying being willing to serve all..Amen..serving others is the most perfect example of who Christ is in our lives..but as far as living in freedom from carrying heavy burdens..that is found by abiding and coming always to the Father being meek and lowly as He is..being kind and patient..following His example of how to live here in this world in which we live..for life will always happen..problems will always come..but rest for our souls..that is the greatest need of all for each of us and the life it is that we are living for Jesus..Amen..so let us find that rest from the Lord..for His yoke is easy..Amen..and His burden is light..Praise the Lord..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
