“So this morning in bible fellowship class we were studying the book of Jonah..Amen..and it is a wonderful book in all aspects..because it does show us self..Amen..and who we are..Amen..because isn’t it true we all have run in one form or another away from the Lord..Jonah 1:1-3..Amen..or should I say we all in one way or another disobeyed the Lord and His commands and what He alone has spoken to us to do..Amen..just as He did to Jonah..and Jonah just did not listen at all..he just continually kept being disobedient to the Lord..and all the while God kept on pursuing Jonah..reaching out to Jonah..and loving him regardless of how Jonah was responding to Him..Amen..and here Jonah was a prophet of God..and the thing about it all was Jonah couldn’t run away from the Lord..couldn’t hide from the Lord..for none of us can..Psalm 139:7-12..Amen..we may try at times to get away from it all..Amen..disobey..live our lives the way we choose too..and all the while there is the Lord our God with us..in all of the mess..in all our disobedience..there is our Father..Amen..so the thing is this..we are not fooling God with our lives..the way we are living..the way we are acting..the way we are doing our own thing so to speak..either way..all the while confessing..and outwardly expressing freedom and obedience..but deep down inside..we know us..Amen..we know what we are doing..we know what we should be doing..and we know what we are not doing..Amen..we know what we are thinking..we know how we are covering up..running away..we know..and the Lord our God knows as well..Amen!”

“But here’s the thing..to make a difference..to be who the Lord desires from you to be for Him..it does take obedience..because we cannot move closer in to the Lord without it..Amen..because sin falls down and humbles itself in Gods presence..Amen..and we change as we are there before Him..so again..we get free will..we get to do whatever we desire..and in turn we do and we will suffer the consequence for our own actions..for our choices in our own lives..so to blame..to point fingers..to do any of the above..would be understatement..because guys its you and Jesus working it out..Amen..just as it is Jesus and I working it out..Amen..and when we live to please Him..our lives both inwardly and outwardly does and will express that from us..the anointing..Gods presence..His love..His grace..all of these things will be evident in us and our lives in which we ourselves choose to live..Amen..so live well for our Father..and live a life full of obedience to Him..shining and sharing the gospel..being a light in a darkened world in which we live..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
