“The bible says that we are drawn away by our own lusts..James 1:14-15..Amen..and most of the time people say, Oh, I will never do this or that..or whatever the case and in turn I always think to myself..Oh, boy don’t say that..because you never know what you might do in your life..you never know what may take place to cause certain things to happen or for you to do certain things..Amen..because we are all just a bunch of humans that are in need and daily need of the Lord and His goodness in our lives..because we make messes of things..we get ourselves into troubles that we never should be in..maybe for lack of wisdom or just simply not thinking things through or just simply not listening..but most of the time I think it’s because we forget what manner of a man that we were..Amen..and I say we forget who we were before Christ came into our lives..Amen..for the word of God says that in the book of James..it tells us it’s like looking in a mirror and immediately forgetting what manner of a man we was..James 1:23-25..Amen..in other words we just kinda do whatever because how quickly at times we do forget and in our forgetfulness we are drawn away..drawn away from the goodness of the Lord..drawn away by our own selfish desires..drawn away from whats good and perfect for us and our lives..drawn away by sin..actually in and of itself..Amen!”

“So again we never know where we may end up in our lives..or we never know what we may begin doing all over again in our lives..Amen..because somehow if we don’t stay mindful of who we are in Christ..and if we don’t stay mindful and grateful and thankful for who the Lord has made us to be now in Him..and what all He has set us free from in our lives..we end up slowly drawn back to that old sinful person in whom we was..Amen..because we are always getting drawn by something..and the enemy uses it all..Amen..he doesn’t stop guys once you become a child of God..that’s why the Lord tells us that we are to stay prayed up..stay in the church getting fed..Amen..stay around like minded believers..Amen..because my mom always said to me..Mandi you are like who you hang around..Amen..and thats the truth..we do like others..we are very easily conformed to whats around us..Amen..think about it..wherever you are is how you end up being..and how you end up acting..and that’s the truth..Amen!”

“So I would like for us all this morning to look back over our lives..look back to where we started from with Jesus..and then leet us think about it..look in the mirror of our lives..and when we do..I pray we don’t turn away from that mirror forgetting who we were to who we are now..and then as we walk away..I pray we walk away being smart..being wise..being obedient..and being faithful to stand steadfast in the midst of adversity..trials..and temptations..and that we go in faith and assurance with Christ..as we choose to be well in our lives..and we choose to not forget who we were..because believe you me..it was no party so to speak for me and my life..it was like living hell on earth..it was battle after battle for me..after coming to the Lord..then enemy did not want to leave my life alone..he wanted me to go back to who I was before Christ..he did not want me to make it..so as I say it was awful to say the least..growing in the Lord..learning who the Lord was..night after night of tears..and many sorrows..and many battles..just to get to be able to stand..Amen..so I don’t want to forget that..and I don’t ever want to forget that..Amen..because it was war to get me to where I am this day..and I know that I surely don’t want that life ever again..so I get up and daily..and I do put on my armor..and I do stand in the midst of it all..I stand in my Father’s strength and His and His wisdom..Amen..and I do pray with all that is within me..that you as well do the same..Amen..for we are in a spiritual war and daily guys..and we have to be prepared..and we have to be smart to make those wise decisions in our lives..for again everything we do matters and it matters greatly..and I will leave us all with this thought..the grass is NOT greener on the other side of the fence so to speak..sure it looks all fun..but the fun and the games end..and the chance you take for the after effects of it all..is so not worth any of it..so again look in the mirror and remember this day..and DON’T forget what manner of man you was..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
