“I have been reading some from the book of Luke and I can’t seem to get away from Martha and Mary..and at how Jesus was coming to their home and all the while Martha spent her time serving and preparing..while Mary the word says sat at Jesus’ feet learning from Him and His words..Amen..so Martha got a little upset and went to the Lord and said, do you not care that I am doing all the work while Mary is just sitting there and has left me alone to do it all..Amen..and Jesus says to her Martha you are troubled about many things..but Mary has chosen the good part..she has chosen the ‘NEEDFUL’ thing..Amen..and you may think to yourself well, Martha wasn’t doing anything wrong by her serving..but the point of it all is do you take time to do the Mary thing?..do you take time to do that needful thing?..Amen..or do you simply work and work always worried and troubled about so much in life..always doing other than taking time in your day to sit down at the Lords feet and soak up His word and His still small voice speaking to you His child..for you see that is the most needful thing any of us can ever do in all of our lives..Amen…is to spend time in the Lord’s presence..to sit down and rest awhile just as Mary was doing..Amen..she knew that things were needing to be done..she knew that supper was needing to be cooked..Amen..but Mary chose to do that thing that was the most beneficial to her and her life..but not only hers but as well as to the lives of them ones around her..for you see guys we cannot pour from empty vessels..Amen!”

“For we can’t give away to anyone else what we ourselves do not have..but when we take time to be with be Jesus our Lord..and we sit there with Him and talk it over..and tell Him as the song says all about our troubles..it honestly does wonders for our hearts and our souls..so my prayer and my heart this morning is this..I do hope and pray that each of you and daily so do that needful thing that Jesus spoke of in the gospel of Luke..for that is the most needful thing that any of us can ever do for our lives and or our journeys with Him..for all else can wait in your life..I promise it still will get done whatever it is that is keeping you and your plate so full that it’s causing you to feel that you don’t have time just as Martha did..but know that everything can wait..for the needful thing..don’t ever let that wait..or stay there somehow on the back burner..because when that happens it kind of gets forgotten and we never want to forget to make time and spend time with the Lord..Amen..and we never want to overlook that most crucial and most beneficial part of our day..that needful thing..that as the word says shall never be taken away from us..Luke 10:38-42..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
