“So this morning Erik had already started to drive and so I was gonna go ahead and sit down in the back of the truck and pray and write my devotion..so I climb up to grab my lap top and as I go to turn it on..well, the battery had ran dry..Amen..so I climb back up on the bench to grab down from the cabinets my cord to plug it in..and I find one but it wasn’t mine..and mind you I have our covers folded up in there as well as our pillows and the truck is bouncing me everywhere..so I am trying to hold on..move covers and pillow and find my cord..Amen..so then I reach back again and find another cord..and it wasn’t mine either..so I am beginning to get a little aggravated..Amen..and I am about to start yelling up front to Erik where in the world is my cord?!..Amen..but in that moment I thought about our son Anthony..and he always tells me to calm down..lol..quit getting so mad..so quickly mom..and so I stopped myself immediately..Amen!”

“And I kept on looking..needless to say I did not find my cord in the cabinets..after the fact that I had pulled every single thing out from them..Amen..and then the Lord says look on the counter top..and sure enough there it was right before my eyes..if only I would had looked there first..Amen..but the point of it all is that we get so tore up over the silliest of things..and we do this because of habit first off..but again I just think Lord I know that again only I can stop myself from responding in a angry and or mouthy so to speak way..when things get a little tight..or a little tore up..or the tension gets turned up..Amen..because I am reminded of the scripture in the word of God that says does a fountain send forth at the same time both sweet and bitter water?..for it goes on to say who is wise among you?..let him show that out from a good conversation his works with meekness and wisdom..for the wisdom that is from above is pure..gentle..easy to be intreated..full of mercy and good fruits..James 3:11-18..Amen..so yes what we say..how we respond..what we do..everything is a reflection of what we stand for and what we believe..and who it is that we my friend represent..Amen..so I do pray we all if your like me and respond a little mad at times..choose to respond differently..for the way we respond about anything in life..is the way we will always respond..so we choose to respond with peace..and with wisdom..kindness..and pureness..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤
