“It’s when we take our eyes off from who we are in Christ..and what we have in our lives..to begin looking around at others and their lives and at what they have..that is the moment that we begin to fall short in our own lives and in our own walk with the Lord..because when we start this act of comparison that is as well when every evil thing begins to come our way..considering envy..jealousy..strife..unthankfulness..unforgiveness..that is when ruin comes into our lives..that is when growth stops..that is when our witness loses..because you see we get this as some call it the big red monster eye..and it changes us..it changes our hearts..the way we act..the way we feel..the way we conduct business..the way we minister..everything..because comparison is such an ugly thing for us..Amen..it steals away from the person and the life that you have..the one that God has given to you..regardless of what it may look like..Amen..for look at the times in the bible when that thief came and stole away so much..John 10:10..when that ole evil eye came..I think about Cain and Abel..Genesis 4:1-7..I think about Saul and King David..1 Samuel 17:55/1 Samuel 18:29..and let us not forget the Prodigal son and his brother..Luke 15:11-32..Amen!”

“For it just takes away..and so much at that..it never adds to anything in anyones life..it makes us insecure in the person that we are..it makes us feel worthless..like were somehow not good enough..because we don’t look like them..we don’t have what they have..we don’t live in the fancy home..or community..who knows..maybe you compare the fact that they have a wonderful spouse and you don’t..maybe they have children and you can’t have any..for you see comparison is a thief..because God has blessed you..and maybe not in material things..maybe not in the perfect life or what you think to be perfect in your eyes..but take a look at who you are..and take a look at what you do..and take a look at what gifts you have been given of the Lord..but whatever you do..don’t compare your life to the life of anyone else..not ever..be happy for others..and be happy and thankful for you and your life..don’t let that ole ugly thief steal away you and all of who you are and what you my friend have been gifted and blessed with..because we all have enough and we all are enough just as we are..we are loved and we are blessed..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
