“Quit pulling the nail out of that old casket!”

“So this morning I had remembered something that Anthony had said to me..he says mom people just keep hammering the same nail into the same casket..Amen..he says when something is supposed to be dead and gone in anyones life than it’s gone..Praise the Lord..they’re ‘NOT’ going to get anything else from it..Amen..and of course he is correct..because how many of ya know that God says when He forgives than He as well cast our sins away from us scripture says as far as the east is from the west so far has the Lord removed our transgressions from us..it goes on to say NEVER to be brought up against us again..Psalm 103:12..Amen..but some how we forget all of that..especially when we get angry or mad..we begin to bring up everything and anything that we can against another person..that has somehow done us wrong or made a simple mistake..we begin to dig and dig..or should I say we begin to hammer that nail again..and or sometimes pull it up out from that casket..which represents death..because it is supposed to be dead..that thing or things that others have done against us..it is and should be dead..but again we dig and we pull and we begin to go back and talk about everything that has ever been said or done..and in return we get flared up and we get super mad and angry..because we begin to relieve our past..and we begin as I like to say it pull the band-ade off from a wound that has healed or should be healed..and we begin to bleed again..Amen!”

“But isn’t that exactly what the enemy wants..he wants us in the past of our lives..he doesn’t ever want us in the present or to look ahead into the future..he wants us distracted by past..and he wants us to look back always..but guys this is the thing pulling up old nails from a casket in our lives that thing that should be dead..or things that should be dead..does nothing good for any of us..except steal so much from us..takes away the present and all that the Lord is doing in the ‘NOW’ of our lives..and the Lord is always moving in our lives..pushing us forward..and only we stop that when we begin to dig and pull up old nails..so this morning I must say that somehow when this happens..please know that none of us is ‘EVER’ gonna get anything new from something that is dead and should be dead in our lives..the Lord has already dealt with that dead thing..just as we have..so why reach back and pick up something dead?..because dead things are not going to bring life..and Jesus is our life..Amen!”

“So we know the enemy is a liar and the father of them all..John 8:44..and he does not control us..we control ourselves..and we do at times fall short from the glory of the Lord..but as well when we hear Gods word spoken and we hear correction..that is the moment that we obey and we listen to the Lord and His still small voice..because He alone is always speaking to us His children..and our obedience is what brings victory in all of our lives..so don’t be deceived..and any time we know that we are talking past we know immediately we should change the conversation in which we are having..Praise the Lord..so let us ask the Lord maybe once again for forgiveness and let us get up shake the very dust from our feet..Matthew 10:14..and move on..for this is a new day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it..Psalm 118:24..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
