“So I always watch this women’s ministry youtube television show where different authors, singers, teachers, preachers and therapist will come together to discuss a certain topic or issue about life and what is happening in it and great ways on how to deal with it..Amen..but yesterday while I was watching they were discussing on how to have compassion and how to love on others in our lives..Amen..and all of a sudden this certain guest speaker speaks up and says 70% of what we think about others is usually bad..especially when we are in the midst of their anger..their hurt..or in the middle of them having maybe just a bad day..that 70% of the time when we are in those moments do we ever think or even dare to tell a good story as to why they are reacting or acting this way..Amen..we immediately think the worst and we begin to muster up in our own minds this horrible most horrific story as to why they are being this way..and why they just don’t like us..and we go on and on..until at the end of all that bad made up story we just told..we are now the angry and mad ones..and we are now so upset with the whole situation that we try to understand the reason or reasonings behind their actions..we just assume..and in our assumptions..we lose friends..we lose a moment and we lose ourself to missing out on a opportunity to give and show love..to have some compassion for them and their situation that they may be in..and in doing so no one wins..they don’t and we as well don’t..and in return we both have a bad day..and we both walk away from having love and having and reaching forward with compassion..Amen!”

“So I wonder today if maybe you as well were faced in a circumstance to where someone wasn’t that kind..or wasn’t all that friendly..or maybe they just kind of blew ya off so to speak..or never even spoke..maybe you got cut off in traffic..or maybe someone cut in front of ya while driving along..but either way in that moment..how did you respond?..did you respond from a place of anger?..or a place of compassion?..or did you muster up some really good story about why they did that to you?..and not just any old story but one of those juicy ones?..because most of the time that’s what we seem to do..we take it personally..if someone does something we immediately respond to them trying to attack us..and we start making up this imaginary story..and it is not a good story at all that we begin to tell..even if we don’t tell another person..we’re still telling it to ourselves..Amen..and in return we begin to let these feelings overwhelm us and we get lost in this make believe story that we just told and in doing so we begin to have the worst day ever..Amen..so what I came today to say is simply this..just because someone says something or acts a certain way..DOES NOT mean that they do not like you or that they have something against you..so first off if this person or these people are not there to defend themselves as you begin to start a story about them..than please tell a good story..if any of us are gonna choose to make up one..than let us make up a good one at that..to say the least..Amen…and let us respond from a place of love..for love covers a multitude of sins..1 Peter 4:8..Amen..and love responds in a place of compassion and having it other than a place of hurt, shame or guilt..Romans 5:5..Amen..because our make believe stories only hurt us and our hearts..for the bible says that out from them flow the issues of our lives..Proverbs 4:23..and when we fill them up with 70% of bad stories..well, we’re gonna respond in our lives with that 70% of bad stories..so today I pray we all live our lives telling good stories..as I say even if we only speak them or tell them to ourselves..because we are listening to what we say..and we wanna hear good things in our ears..Amen..and we wanna hear them good stories..those ones that reaches down and touches the depths of our very souls and changes us from the inside out..Amen..so let us think about what we say..and let us speak from a place of truth in our lives..other than a place of make believe..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
