“I know for me to rest is not at all easy or an easy thing to do..I just somehow keep going and going..until I reach the end of my robe so to speak..and when I was younger I would really go and go..until the point of never stopping at all..I was on a continual rush and a most do something attitude..there was no time to slow down..because something had to be done..Amen..and maybe you as well are that person in your life..that you just go and go and in the midst of going so much you never stop and take time to enjoy what you do have and what you do have around you..Amen..all of the Lord’s blessings..Amen..but I must say that for me over the past few years I have learned that everything does not have to be accomplished in one day..and that it can be spread out over the week..Amen..because how many of ya know that the enemy will do everything in his power to make your life miserable..and if it is being busy to do that than he’ll do just that..keep you so busy and I mean super busy..running from one task to the other..until your tank runs on empty..Amen!”

“And for me when I get there to being empty I am not at all the nice happy person that some see me as..especially when I am tired and exhausted..I get quiet..and I get just a little mouthy..lol..just a little..Amen..but mostly to the ones I love the most..like somehow it’s there fault that I am busy and doing so much..but in reality that is the furthest thing from the truth..Amen..but of course the enemy wants to convince you that it is the truth..Amen..but really it’s not at all the truth..for my family all of them..would continually and continually tell me, Mandi you need to slow down..and stop for a minute your gonna get burned out..Amen..and that is the truth and was the truth..but one day the Lord begin to deal with me..and as they say must of the time you need only to look in the mirror at yourself..and ask yourself some hard questions and answer them honestly..Amen..but it was to the fact of realizing that I wasn’t even enjoying my life..my blessings..and that somehow by my doing so much..that I missed my moments in my life..and that I was not living in my moments that God had given to me..because I was to busy looking ahead at the next thing or things that must be done..Amen!”

“But I guess what I wanna say is that change doesn’t come easy nor does it come overnight..for some of us we are just these types of people that are busy..on a constant must be doing something type of person..but guys if we aren’t careful we miss life..we miss family..we miss out on the moments that have been given..we miss everything..even to the fact of missing what someone is trying to say to us..because most of the time again if you are a busy person your mind is on the next thing to do in life..your mind is not there in the moment with someone..and as I say we miss the moment of something special maybe..something God is wanting us to say or do..because were not there in that moment that has been given..so what I do wanna say is that stuff can wait..that we don’t have to be involved in everything or do we have to say yes to everything..it is okay to say no..and to not have to feel that we have to be busy with something always..for each of us can and should rest..God requires of us to rest..Matthew 11:29/Mark 6:31..so find your resting place in your life..sit down for a moment and enjoy your home..enjoy your family..enjoy a good movie..a good book..enjoy a walk in the park..or go for a long car ride just letting the road take you with not place to actually go..Amen..but whatever we do I pray we don’t miss our lives..or anything that has been given to us..but that we find balance..and we find freedom to be there in our places and be there quietly..and peaceful..living and enjoying it all..not in a rush..not in a frenzy..but just there resting and rejuvenating for what life has to offer and give the next day..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
