“Parents!”

“Well, this past Saturday, Erik and I left to head up to my parents home..we got there late because we had to work that day..but we spent Saturday and Sunday with them and than headed back to our home yesterday..but the trip was wonderful..my mommy had her home decorated so beautifully for fall time..and it was so wonderful and comforting..because taking time for your loved ones is a complete must..Amen..we say it all the time..how much we love them..Amen..but let us not forget that love in all of our lives is an action word..1 Corinthians 16:14..we can say all day..but guys when we show and we do express our love that is when life and love happens..Amen..for many they’ve already lost their parents in their lives..and myself included I’ve lost my dad, David, but what I still do have my beautiful mommy and my Randy..he is like a dad to me in my life..for he has been in my life since I was 3 years old..Amen..but what I’m coming this morning to say to us all is that we have to go the extra mile so to speak..Matthew 5:41..we have to make time for our loved ones..regardless of how busy our lives are..because one day they will be gone..and than we don’t get any do overs or start overs or whatever the case is..we move on then..Amen!”

“But see there is this saying that says you don’t know what you have until it’s gone..Amen..and isn’t that the truth..no one pays much attention to their loved ones until their gone and then they consider them as a person and consider all that they have done and do..Amen..but my heart and my prayer is that we don’t let social media or text message ‘STOP’ fellowship and community as it’s supposed to be..Amen..because we need each other in this thing we call life..we need hugs..true blue hugs..not some emoji hug..but a real hug..we need conversations..and not through messages and text messages..but really and truly looking at one another in the eyes type of conversations..Amen..we need laughter together that can be heard..not just some ‘lol’ that we spell out for the other to read in all hopes that they feel that expression..Amen!”

“Because again family is the most beautiful thing we have..and they are all our gifts from the Lord..and regardless of any of it..we all are family when we come together as family..and we love and we eat and we laugh and we enjoy one another..because that is what makes life beautiful and worth living..Amen..but we had a wonderful time while there..and we listen to stories..we stayed up late..and we ate..we laughed and we loved..because the older we get the more we understand what life is all about..Amen..and family well that is life..and life for us and our very souls..it such a wonderful thing..even if at times there may be disagreements..or attitudes..lol..either way we still love them and they love us regardless of how we act..or what we say..because I say and act a lot of ways sometimes..but you know they say that you take out the most on your loved ones..because you know they will forgive you and overlook you..in which case we should..because we know deep down none of us mean it..Amen..so take time for your family..make the time..because time is never promised to none of us..James 4:14..and when it’s over it is over..so have no regrets..no what if’s..just know you loved and lived well with your family..and that they know that you love them..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
