“So there was this family yesterday sitting down on a bench and their son was maybe a year and half old..and he kept falling down..and his daddy and mommy would tell him to get back up..so he would get up and walk a little bit more and again he would fall down..and of course they would tell him to get back up..but as I was standing there watching and listening to them my mind began to think about us and our lives..and at how we all from a very early age in our lives are taught to get back up when we fall down..Amen..and it was pretty easy to get back up when were little..it seemed that we paid no never mind to the fact that we had fallen down numerous of times..Amen..regardless of any of it we would just get up and go on..Amen!”

“We would laugh..we would continue to play..and we would just continue to go about doing whatever it was that we were doing..Amen..and I thought Lord if only we as adults could honestly get that concept in our lives..if when we did get knocked down so to speak that we would just get back up and keep moving forward..that we would not wallow in self-pity..we would not feel sorry for ourselves..we would not talk about it over and over..just how we did fall down..Amen..but we would get up and no matter how many times we would fall down in a day..we would get up and continue on doing the things that we were doing..Amen..sure as a child they may cry for but a moment..but they get over it as well pretty quickly..so I’m not saying that we can’t cry if we must..or that we can’t just lay down there for a moment..but what I am saying is this if we lay there and don’t get up than we will continue to get attacked and we will continue to lay there..Amen!”

“We will not move on as we should be..see that ole devil wants us to quit..he wants us to stop..never to reach our place that God has for us..but let me say this to someone here this morning..we are in a race..and we are to run our race in confidence as the word says looking unto Him who is the Author and the Finisher of our faith..Hebrews 12:2..Amen..for as well it goes on to say that we were running well but what hindered us?..Amen..Galatians 5:7..maybe someone needs to ask themselves that question..what hindered me from keeping on?..what has stopped me from running my race with endurance?..for you see the past is a place as to where nothing changes..it stays the same..so you can’t run nor can I ever run by looking back..for Jesus says, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God..Luke 9:62..for we want to finish our race that the Lord has placed before us..Amen..we want to get to the very end and know that we have fought the good fight..and we have finished our course all the while keeping the faith..Amen..2 Timothy 4:7..so if life has kind of knocked you down..and life has been unfair to you..my heart is that you get up and you go and you move on..you holdfast to Jesus..and you run your race..knowing that this world is not our home..so you’re gonna chose to be like that little boy..Amen!”

“We’re gonna just keep getting up..because quitting..or stopping is not in our vocabulary..because we know that there is a work to do for the Lord..and He needs us to be apart of that work..so let us all press on towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus..Philippians 3:14..Amen..for we all can make it and we all are gonna make it..when we know that we may get knocked down..but that does not mean that we stay down..that just means that we get back up..and we keep moving forward..placing one foot in front of the other..doing the very best we can for Jesus Christ our Lord..Amen..for I love the little saying that says..if you can’t fly..then run..if you can’t run..then walk..and if you can’t walk then crawl..but whatever you do just keep moving forward..Amen..for they say guys it’s not so much how you start that matters..but it is how you finish..for you see that matters and matters greatly..so my prayer is that each of us finish..and that we finish well for our Lord..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
