“So yesterday morning as well as for the next few days here in North Carolina the temperatures have dropped drastically..considering usually by 9 o’clock it is already in the nineties here..and yesterday well not so much the lows were in the fifties and highs were maybe sixty..and so from that much of a drop it was considerably cold and as well windy..so anyways my hubby tells me yesterday morning, baby you should stick a jacket on because it is going to be cold on you today outside..and I was like I’ll be alright..and again he tells me..and I say honey I will be fine..and once more as I am walking out the door..he says you REALLY should grab your jacket because it is going to be cold..and again of course I am like I will be fine honey..I promise..I will have my apron on and as well my vest so all is well..and I laugh and out the door I go to head on off to work..Amen!”

“And so of course I get to work and I am out under my canopy in the parking lot doing my curbside pickup and I begin to get cold..and well the wind is none stop..supposingly from a tropical storm off from the coast line here in the Carolinas..so I am standing there with one of the runners..and I begin to say I am super cold right now..for I have been used to the weather being in the nineties..and I continue on to tell him and the bad part is that my husband told me three times to grab a jacket..he even said to me..even if you don’t use it honey you will still have one there with you..and I tell the runner well right about now I wished I would’ve listened..Amen..I said I feel like Jonah in the bible..in whom the Lord tells him three times to go to Nineveh to preach the word that He gave for him to give the people..but Jonah didn’t obey because he didn’t want to obey the Lord..so he went on and did his own thing..but he as well suffered the consequences..I mean he got swallowed up by this huge fish..yuck!!..Jonah (1-4)..Amen!”

“And I know that my coldness and Jonah are two totally different things..but the point of this is..God ALWAYS is speaking to you and I and He is always looking for obedience..no matter how small it is to how BIG it is..the Lord wants for us to have an obedient heart towards Him and what He ask from us..regardless if it seems insignificant or not..even if we think it is no big deal so to speak..if the Lord says something to us personally..than He wants us to listen and obey..Amen..for it is for a reason..everything He ask from us..because again everything we do matters and matters greatly..Amen..and as well there is always repercussion for our disobedience..even to the smallest thing..for you see the Lord needs to know that we are gonna listen to Him..to be used of Him..and used greatly for His Kingdom requires much obedience..and a very much willing and obeying spirit..Amen..so I pray we all follow the Lords leading in our lives..and that we are willing to hear His voice as He speaks to us and that we follow through immediately..for the word of God says to whom much is given much is required..Luke 12:48..and to do a work for the Lord is way more important than hearing but choosing not to listen..Amen..so today I pray we all hear the voice of the Lord and we choose to listen and we choose to obey His still small voice as He speaks to us..Amen..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
