“So at night I love to read..and last night I read this little story and it was about this grandpa and he lived in this small town..and one day in particular as always he was sitting out front of the gas station on the sidewalk in his old rocking chair..but this day his granddaughter decided to go and sit with her grandpa and join him for a bit..so as they were sitting there talking with one another there was this man in whom neither of them had ever seen in the town before and this man approached them and he said so tell me ole timer what’s this town like?..and the grandpa looks at the man and he says well, tell me about your town?..and the man says my town is a mess..everyone always gossips..murmurs..complains..never gets along..and they would never lend a helping hand to anyone..and the grandpa looks at the man and says, you know that is exactly how this town is..so a little while goes by and there comes this family pulling up to get some gas..a dad, mom, and their two children..so the mom goes inside with the kids to get a few things while the dad was getting gas..and the same goes again..the dad looks over and says so what’s your town like sir?..and the grandpa looks back again..and says to the man well, tell me about your town?..and the gentleman says..well, our town is great..everyone helps one another..we all get along so well..actually it’s like family everywhere you go..I love our town the man goes on to saying..and so the grandpa looks up at the gentleman and he says you know sir..that is exactly how this town is..Amen!”

“And so they pull out and head on down the road..and the granddaughter looks at the grandpa and she says, grandpa, why did you tell the one man that our town was not so good..and the other man that it was great?..and the grandpa says, honey no matter what town you live in..you take your attitude with you..Amen..and isn’t that the truth guys..most of the time we consider what is going on around us the problem..and most of the time that’s not the case whatsoever..because you see really it boils down to us..ourselves as to what we see and what we think as to how we consider something to be..because you see happiness is an inside job..it isn’t based on the circumstances..or even the situations..but it is the way we choose to see things that make all the difference in the world..Amen..for we can choose to see the ugly things..or we can choose to see the good things..Amen..we can choose to see the glass half empty or half full..honestly, it is all up to us..and my prayer and my heart is that we choose the good..we choose to look beyond the imperfections of things..and choose to be a positive happy filled Christian for Christ Jesus our Lord..for life is what we choose to make out of it..and life..and the life we live..is based on our attitudes..Amen!”

“For yes, it is a little thing that makes such a huge difference..and not only for yourself and your life..but as well for the ones in whom are around you..for the Bible says, iron sharpens iron..so a mans friend will sharpen his countenance..Proverbs 27:17..Amen..for let us look with eyes of love..and let us look at the good things that Jesus gives..let us look at the wonderful gifts of this life that we have..let us think on good things..Philippians 4:6-9..let us guard our hearts for out from them flows the issues of our lives..Proverbs 4:23..Amen..let us choose to see with eyes of love..sharing and spreading good news..Amen..bringing good cheer to all..making a difference even if it is only is to one..Amen..so go forth and shine Jesus..and never forget we are His hands and feet extended out to a lost and dying world who is in need of a Savior..and everything we do matters..and yet once again matters and matters greatly..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
