“This morning I went out to try and clear our sidewalks and the end of our driveway..but it was completely frozen..it had huge pieces of snow where it had been scraped and pushed over into our yard..so the shovel did not get it..I had to go back to the building and get a pick..I guess that’s what you call it..so back to the end of the driveway I go to begin picking away at those huge pieces of ice..and all the while I keep thinking to myself as I am picking up the ones I get broken apart and throwing them on to the other side of the yard at how God removes things one by one with us..and for us it takes faithfulness on our part daily..and it’s a daily choosing to do the right thing..and is it always easy the chipping away part that takes place?..I would have to say that it is not at all easy..Amen..it’s hard sometimes, especially when God takes things from us that we really want and desire in our lives..but anyways I kept thinking that if we hold on through those times of roughness..if we keep going regardless of how hard it may be..that we will make it..and we do this by God’s grace and with His strength..2 Corinthians 12:7-10..because I love the song that says this..”God will move your mountain if just one stone at a time..Amen..for God knows the thoughts and the plans that He has for you..and those thoughts and plans are to prosper us and not ever to harm us..Jeremiah 29:11..but we must be ready..and we must hold on and not give up..for we do know that little by little..one by one..God helps us to be everything that He alone desires and needs for us to be..for we know that diamonds are made from pressure..and that diamonds are nothing more than a huge lump of coal..Amen..so I can only imagine what God can make from us?..when were merely made from the dust..Amen..so if we’re willing and obedient to go through the chipping away process that sometimes needs to take place in our lives..if we are only willing to hold through that molding and shaping process that He alone takes us through on that potter’s wheel of life so to speak..Amen..because when He has tried us..the word says that we will come forth as pure gold..Job 23:10..so don’t give up guys under pressure..keep on moving with Jesus..praying and trusting in Him for a beautiful outcome..for He tells us in His word that when we delight ourselves in Him..that He would give us the desires of our hearts..Psalm 37:4..Amen..and God knows our hearts..and God alone knows just what it is that we need..so we let go of what we think..how we feel..and we trust Jesus..and we let Him be Lord over us and our lives..for He knows what’s best..for we can’t see it all..but our Father sure can..He sees the beginning all the way to the end..so let us all let the Lord mold and make and shape us into what we all need to be..chipping away..and taking away some things that we no longer need..for it is a process..and a daily one..and little by little..one by one..we will get there and we will all make it..so let us keep on keeping on yet once again doing the best we can with what we have..following the leading and the guiding of our Heavenly Father..for it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
