“So many times in my life I feel like I missed it..I feel like that I didn’t quite hear what someone was saying to me..all because either I failed to really hear by thinking of how to give an answer..or my mind was wandering elsewhere..And I look back at so many of my conversations and I think Oh, Mandi what did you miss..what did you fail to hear..because you know sometimes there is only one time..only once that someone may have had the courage to speak and to talk..and I failed..Amen..but what I have learned and I what I am learning is that sometimes people don’t need an answer to their questions..sometimes they don’t need you to give an opinion..sometimes the only thing they truly need is a listening ear..and simply put just a friend..Amen..because sometimes for them to get free they just need to release those things that have been in their minds and so heavy on their hearts..so to be a friend is the best thing ever..to truly have a friend that loves you..and loves who you are..a friend that hears everything..and listens so attentively..is the best thing we can ever be in life and the best thing we can ever have..so I’m learning to hear other than reply..Amen..I’m learning to just simply hear other than always responding..because most of the time they just need you to hear them..they don’t need an extra voice to hear..they just need you to be there..just to be present in the moment that you are in with them..so to focus on someone and to be able to hear them is a gift immensely..such a gift to acquire each and every one of us..for the bible says there is a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;..Ecclesiastes 3:7..and my prayer and my heart for us all is that we are wise enough to know which one needs to be done in these moments that we are in..that we pray for wisdom and we pray for discernment..1 Kings 3:9..so let us hear..let us listen..let us be present..and let us simply be a friend in those moments that maybe only will happen once..because sometimes there is only one time..so let us not miss the times that we have..the times when others are speaking and opening up to us..let us be..and let us be there for them..not listening to respond or give an answer..but just simply hearing them..and simply being present..being that friend that we all need from time to time..for it is in Jesus name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
