“Put on them new shoes!”

I think for a lot of us we just keep getting up day in and day out and we keep putting on them old shoes so to speak…we keep placing on them old shoes that we used to walk in..and somehow we keep on walking and living the old way that we use to live and the old way we use to do things and all because we’ve failed to see that God has given us brand new shoes..He has wiped away that old past…that old man…that old nature…and He has placed upon us some brand new walking shoes to put upon our feet…and with these new shoes we don’t go walking down them old roads that we use to walk down..and we don’t go going in them old places that we use to go…see the Lord has given us a new walking trail…He has given us new places to go…so for us to move on guys into the next phase in our walks with Jesus we have to be willing to let go of them old shoes…because them old shoes took us places that we should’ve never gone or should’ve ever been at in our lives…so today make sure that you have on them new walking shoes…make sure that you are walking that straight and narrow pathway that the Lord has set before each of us to walk upon..for you see the scripture says this…Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it….Matthew 7:13-14…and who is our life and what is this life that these scriptures are speaking of?…Well, Jesus Christ is our life…for the word of God says this…Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me…John 14:6….so I pray that each of us daily when we go to place our shoes upon our feet that we consider our walk…and we consider if our walk is walking the old way or if our walks are  walking that new way…for the bible says..Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall…1 Corinthians 10:12…for guys we are to examine ourselves to see whether or not we are in the faith..2 Corinthians 13:5…and no one knows where any of us truly are in our walks with Christ other then ourselves…so today let each of us consider ourselves and consider them things that we do and are doing for the Lord..and make sure that we all are walking down that pathway that is gonna lead us to the Lord..and lead us on home when Jesus calls for us..I pray each of us are ready…that were ready to meet our Maker…for life is honestly but a vapor..John 4:14…and no man knows when the time or day of his death shall be…so we are to always be watchful…be mindful and be ready…be right in our hearts and in our lives and in our relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord…for once again guys its all about Jesus…for Solomon said it best in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter one and verse two…when he said that all of this is nothing more than vanities of vanities…the only meaningful thing that we have is our souls being saved..for you see guys that is our hope of glory…to one day live on forever and ever with the Lord…for this world let none of us ever forget is not our home…we are just here for but a moment..and then we will go on to live forever in heaven..if we are walking down that narrow pathway leading us to Jesus..Hallelujah..for up there in heaven guys, we will never have sorrows..never have sickness…never face fears…or discouragement…no depression…no defeat…no more problems…no more tears…all is peace forevermore on Gods celestial shore..as the song says and as the song sings…what a day glorious day that is going to be…so let us look for heaven…let us be kingdom minded…and let always be ready if by chance Jesus were to call one of us on home…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
