So I’ve had this place on my wrist for the last couple of days and somehow I keep hitting it and it just keeps opening back up other then healing..and this morning it did it again…and I say to myself, my goodness not again..having to go back to them ole bandaids and waiting for it to heal up to where it isn’t bleeding..and of course I begin to think about people..and their lives and at how they keep on tearing off them old scars…and the keep ripping back open them old wounds and hurts that the Lord is trying to heal up for them…but the Lord never can get to that place to heal them…because they never let go of them past hurts and past wounds to be able for the Lord to heal them…for healing is a process..and it takes time to mend…and it takes time to be whole again…when things happen and things take place in our lives..but I pray we never fail to see and never fail to understand that when we discuss the past..and when we speak of and talk about and bring up the past and the things that’s happened there at that time and place in our lives…then guys we live there at that time and place…and we will continually live there over and over, again and again..just like a song isn’t it amazing at how you can here a song that you used to listen to when you were growing up and at how you can still feel the memories and you can go back to that place in your life as to what you were doing and someone be there in our minds at that place all over again…same thing when we speak of and talk about our past and the hurts and wounds that have happened unto us…somehow we end up being there at that place and time and we somehow remember it all and we remember it all, all over again..and when we do this..it just rips open and tears open that wound that the Lord was mending and healing for us…but now we’ve done resurfaced it again..and so we go through the emotions of it all over again…we go through the anger of it all over again…and we place ourselves back there at that place and that time in our lives..and we live it as I said all over again…so today I pray that we all honestly and truly let go of our hurts and let go of our past…and that we don’t let our past rob us of our wonderful futures that the Lord has prepared for us…for we can never move forward if we keep living and dwelling on our past…for as a man thinks the word of God says, so is he..Proverbs 23:7…so we can’t expect to be all that the Lord is wanting for us to be…when we’re not willing to speak of our futures..and to talk about the now in our lives..not the than…but the now!…for we have to keep moving forward…and we know that the past was just a mere chapter in our lives…it wasn’t the whole story of our lives..but for some they never seem to get off from that one chapter…and that is where they base their lives…right there on that one chapter…never to see the chapters that lie ahead…all because they are stuck on the past..and on the than as I said, other then the now…so please understand that we should guard our hearts and our minds…we should pay attention to what we say and what all were thinking about and dwelling on..and make sure that our thoughts and our words are living in our futures other then dwelling and living in our past…for the bible says, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things…Philippians 4:8…so our past guys are just that the past…so make sure that your not living there…for it was merely a stepping stone..it was a place of learning and a place of trusting and growing in Jesus…that’s all…never to be lived out day in and day out…for the Lord says, I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end….Jeremiah 29:11…so let us look for the expected end that Jesus has prepared for us…for He can’t do no more in our lives until were willing to let Him..and we let Him by living and doing what the word of God says for us to be doing…so we move forward…we don’t stand still and we don’t dwell on them yesterdays…but we look for our tomorrows all the while by living in our todays…so let us live today and let us live it to the fullest in Jesus’ name…I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
