The preacher this morning had made this statement and it was a wonderful statement to be made..and that was this…We are not waiting on God, but God is waiting on us!…now isn’t that a very true statement…everyone seems to make this statement over and over in their lives and that would be this…I am just waiting on the Lord..for when the Lord shows up than I’ll know what it is that He is desiring for me to do in my life…or when the Lord speaks to me…than I’ll know what I’m to do…for it seems that constantly a lot of people are just sitting there by the wayside and their just waiting on the Lord…their waiting on something miraculous to happen and or to take place before they ever begin doing whatever in the world it is that their called to do…but guys I have come today to tell you that this day is a miracle day…this day is a blessed day and this day will never come again…for the bible says that this is the day that the Lord has made so let us all rejoice and be glad in it..Psalm 118:24…Hallelujah..and as well the bible says that with each new morning Gods mercies are new..Lamentations 3:23…Praise His name…see every day we wake up in our lives we are a blessed people…for you see the Lord kept us through the night…and if He has woke you up for a brand new day then that means He has a work for you to do…and once again whatever that work is no matter how big or small that is a gift and a work that God is needing for you, personally to do..today I am reminded of the story in the bible that says this…After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there in Jerusalem by the sheep market is a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick folk, some blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water..For an angel would come down at a certain season into the pool, and trouble the water: and it says that whosoever would be the first after the troubling of the water to step into that water that they would be made whole of whatsoever disease they had. And there was a certain man there, which had an infirmity thirty-eight years. and when Jesus saw him lie there, and knew that he had been this way for a very long time, he saith unto him, Will thou be made whole? and the sick man answered him, and he said, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me. and Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and he walked…John 1:9…Hallelujah…so the point of me saying this, is this…the only person in whom can stop you from getting anything it is that God has for you, is only you..for once again guys…Were not waiting on God, but God is waiting on us!…for you see God is already ready…He is not unprepared…He is there always…waiting on you and on me..to do whatever it is that He alone is needing from us to be doing…but as well we all know that faith without works is dead..James 2:17…we have to put forth the effort…we have to have faith…for you see without faith the word of God says it’s impossible to please the Lord..Hebrews 11:6…for the Lord says unto us…that “ALL” things are possible to him that believes..Mark 9:23…so understand that were not waiting on God guys..but God is waiting on us…and with every step we take going in the direction that the Lord has for us to be going than we are always moving in the right direction…when we seek out God and were obedient to do His will and were obedient to listen to His word for our lives then we are in the right direction, and we are doing a miraculous and glorious thing for the Lord…for God is needing people in whom are willing to step out from their boats…and who are willing to be faithful and by doing so they will the bible says, eat the fruit of the land..Isaiah 1:19…for when were faithful to the Lord and we obey and we put actions behind our words and we do what God is needing and desiring and we step out on them waters that are raging and step out even when the storms are brewing and stirring all around…just know we will walk to God and just know that when we listen and we throw in our nets just one more time…that as well we will take in a boat load of them fishes..that we will have more than enough…if ya know what I mean..Praise God…for faith comes by hearing guys and hearing by the word of God..Romans 10:17…for Gods word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathways..Psalm 119:105…for it is Gods word that goes forth to accomplish that in which it was sent forth to accomplish, for the bible says it will not return void!..Isaiah 55:11…so let us get busy doing our thing in which we know we need to be doing for the Lord, and in time God will open up other doors for you and for me, but until then, let us all be busy and let us all get busy doing Gods work…let us not wait for all to be the way we may think it needs to be before we ever do this or that…because we all know that Gods ways are not our ways and Gods thoughts are not our thoughts for His ways and His thoughts are much higher than ours..Isaiah 55:9…so don’t let any of us ever keep the Lord waiting on us…but let us all say unto Him.
