So today I had to run down to the store for a few things…and I left my phone at home in which case I had decided to do so…but the reason behind it was the fact that some things in life we just pick up and take along with us..not really needing it for anything….but just thinking that I may need it…and really it just gets in my way, all the while trying to carry my basket, my wallet and of course my keys…but the phone really is not a necessity to take along with me…so I left it..and as well it was easier for me to go about my storing without me having that big ole phone to worry about..but my point of this and what I was thinking about is how quickly things become idols in peoples lives..that how quickly people hold on and pick up a lot of different things in their lives that there honestly not at all really needing to be in their lives..but somehow along the way…things begin to become habits I guess you would say..and people just get use to doing certain things…but if these habits become time consuming and if these habits or what not become your so called idol in your life as to where you place it before the Lord and spending time with Jesus…or just doing your daily work that needs to be done..then I would say that it’s time to reevaluate them things that you do and are doing in your life..and that you make sure that there not placed above the Lord our God…because the Lord is a jealous God..Exodus 34:14…and He desires all of our glory..Isaiah 42:8…and He does not want anything to ever come before Him in our lives…He is to be number one always…above our spouses…above our children…above our families…our friends…and as well things…because things can take Gods place as well in our lives..the tv can…the computers…the cell phones…the telephones…games…even our personal activities can begin to be placed first and foremost above Jesus as to where we place the Lord on the back burner and somehow without realizing it placing them things first..so we have to be mindful and always make sure that we are giving God our best…and not somehow our last…for some they wait till the end of the day to even speak with the Lord..or for some they wait until their eating their supper and say a quick little prayer…but then that’s it…and somehow they feel like they’ve done enough…they recognized Jesus…they thanked Him..so they did their part…but guys that should never happen in our lives…and if it begins to happen I pray we all see it..and then I pray we all get to working on changing it…see we don’t use the Lord just when we need Him…but He is to be our everything…He so desires us to pray…to speak with Him…and than for us to be still and listen as He speaks and talks to us…so whatever any of us do in all of our lives..I pray that the Lord is number one..and I pray that He knows that…and I pray that mine and your relationships with Christ is a wonderful God fearing relationship…I pray that when we pray that we are immediately in His presence…that His anointing and that His love is manifested and always manifested in our lives…for without the Lord we will never make it in this life…we need Him guys more than anything else that will ever need in all of our lives…more than the food we eat…more than the air we breathe…we need Jesus…for He fills, He satisfies…He quenches all of them longings and all of them thirsting’s of each and everyone of our souls…for there is none like Jesus….nor will there ever be…I love the song that says this…There is none like you…no one else can touch my heart like you do…I could search for all eternity long..and find there is none like you, Dear Lord…so let us make Him our everything…and daily keep Him always as being our everything…placing nothing or no one above or ahead of Him…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
