Well, today I was cutting the grass and trimming around the sidewalks and all of sudden this baby snake jumps up unto our patio..and if anyone knows anything about me, I am no fan of any type of reptile..I just do not for the life of me like them…so I knew I had to kill that little thing..and for me as well that is hard to do…so I go to the building and grab me up a shovel…and all the time I am praying to the good Lord above to help me be brave and kill this tiny little snake..Lol…considering the fact that when Anthony was 2 years old..me and him had just came back home, and Erik was still at work..but anyhow I opened the door to our home and this tiny little blue tailed lizard went running in..and I about died right then and there…and as well back then we didn’t have cell phones to call someone for rescue…to help us…Lol…and there was no way that I was going to go into our  kitchen to get the phone because that’s where that little lizard was…It is funny now but boy oh boy it was not at all funny than…so I grab up Anthony and out the door we go…and it was maybe 3:00 I guess…and thank goodness that Erik would get home from work at 5…so we go out and we play on his swing set…until Erik got home to rescue me from that tiny little lizard!…so to continue on with my story..Erik gets home goes in the house…pulls out that refrigerator and smacks that tiny little lizard and that was the end of the story…so all was well once again in the lives of the Linville’s…Hallelujah…so back to that little snake, killing that little thing was completely huge for me!….but I did it!…and I mean to tell ya that little snake would not die!..I bet I hit him 7 times or so and then finally he gave up…so of course I go straight down to the hardware store and buy some snake poison…to keep all them pesky little things away from our home!…so I call Erik and let him know that I had got some stuff and he says to me..baby, you sure didn’t waste no time going to get that stuff…and I said to him…honey anytime there’s snakes in your life…no matter the size…you take care of that problem…immediately…Praise God….and of course my mind and my heart always goes to the Lord and our lives spiritually speaking…and I think to myself…don’t ever let no snake come into your home, whether it be your physical home, or your spiritual home…don’t let them come around your home…or in your life…period!…but you take care of them little things…no matter what…don’t ever overlook the stuff that happens in your life…because how many of ya know that it is them little things that are the big things…and we have to be on guard at all times…constantly on the look out when it comes to our lives…we don’t win and we will not ever be victorious when we have this whatever type of attitude…in other words letting anything happen and anything go when it comes to our lives…but guys I pray that each of us understand that we have to be on top of it…we have to stay covered and we do this by our prayer lives….because little things always remember turns into big things and even bigger things…see that’s how sin does…it starts small and it grows, bigger and bigger…until it escalates in your lives…so understand that you are a child of God and that you are going to be tested and tried…you are gonna fight battles and things in life…but as well understand that God is the one in whom goes before you..Isaiah 45:2..and that God is the one in whom says that He fights our battles for us..Exodus 14:14…Praise the Lord…so don’t fear the unknown and don’t fear that ole devil and his attacks for he can do nothing unto us that our Father doesn’t know about…so understand that he is a liar and the father of all lies..John 8:44…he always makes ya think the worst of every possible situation that is ever presented…but we as well know that God is for us..and that we are the head and not the tail…that we are blessed and we are highly favored of God..for the bible says we are the apple of his eyes..Zechariah 2:8…Hallelujah…so today I will say this unto us all…let us do what we can do…and God almighty always does the rest….so let us rest…let us wait…let us trust…let us listen and let us obey..for I love the song that says this…God is fighting for us…God is on our side…He has overcome, Yes, He has overcome…we will not be shakened, we will not be moved…for Jesus you are here…Praise the Lord…and He is always near, and He is always there..so let us know that…deep down within us…that God is there, wherever your there is…there He is…always and forever…for He promises to never leave you nor ever forsake you…Deuteronomy 31:6…In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
