Understanding the power of our words is the most powerful thing that any of us could ever do for our lives…for the word of God says that death and life are in the power of our tongues, and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof…it’s like planting that garden out in your yard…and you plant everything so beautiful…and it’s lovely..and you go out and you water that garden…you weed that garden and so forth and this may go on for about a week or two…but than you decide that it’s not growing fast enough..so you get tired of waiting so you jump right on in and begin to dig everything back up…that would be pretty crazy wouldn’t it guys?…the same principle about us and our words…we go to church we have a awesome time in the presence of the Lord…we may even go to the alter and receive prayer from the elders of the church..we stand there in the church with so much faith and power…are words are filled to the overflow with love and positivity…but than we tread ourselves on home and we get all comfortable…and we’re all content to say the least…but a few days go by and there’s no change in our situation…and there is no change in our circumstance…so we may get a little negative…and begin to be a not so positive person in whom we were at church on that glorious Sunday morning…and so all of that good seed that we sowed in the good ground of our hearts…we kinda just began to pull it all up with them words in which we ourselves choose to speak out of our mouths…I always like to reference it this way…Erik and I either one couldn’t ever imagine our son coming to us daily…with a concern as to if we were going to feed him or give him something to drink…even though daily he knows that we do feed him…and not once has he ever gone hungry…or ever gone without something to drink…but still I’m giving an example here not saying that our son ever has done such a thing…but I’m saying what if he did??..I don’t know how we would feel if he done such a thing…as to doubt us that we would not take care of him..the same difference with the Lord…imagine how He must feel when His children doubt Him and His goodness..and or His provision…or His love and kindness that He gives and gives daily to each of us…for the bible says that the Lord loads us up daily with His benefits and His blessings…Psalm 69:18..and that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly…Psalm 84:11..and were told to call those things that be not as though they were…Romans 4:17..we are to go in faith and not sight…2 Corinthians 5:7..we are to understand that with what we speak is what we will reap..for our words have life in them…and especially when were speaking Gods word..we cant turn around a second later and have all of this doubt and unbelief in our mouths..for Gods word is living and breathing..and the bible say that whatever it is sent forth to accomplish that it will accomplish..Isaiah 55:11…for Gods word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathways…Psalm 119:105..so whatever you do guard your mouth…guard what you say..imagine if everything we actually said would come to pass in our lives..for the Lord says this..if you being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children..how much more shall He give unto us…Matthew 7:11..for it is Gods good pleasure to give good things unto us His children…Luke 12:32..for the word says I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken of Gods seed begging for bread…Psalm 37:25..so just know that we do reap what we sow…Galatians 6:7..and the post said it very well…it said make sure your worst enemy isn’t living between your two ears..in other words, you yourself being your own worst enemy..all by what you yourself is speaking and choosing to speak out from your mouth..we were made to worship and praise the Lord..for the bible says that if we don’t the rocks will cry out in our places…Luke 19:40..so if you trust in Jesus..then by all means make sure your life…your words…your actions…and everything in between lines up with the word of God..and that you yourself is a ray of light..shining ever so brightly for the Lord our God..for our God can do anything, anywhere and anytime that He alone chooses..for guys He is God..and nothing is ever impossible for Him!!.Matthew 10:27…so never, ever, ever forget that..in Jesus’ name!
