I always think about these beautiful peonies that we had at our home when we first moved in there..and well, considering the fact that I’m not much on gardening…I do not for the life of me know how to manage or take care of flowers…so there was a row of them in our backyard and I kinda took them down with my mower…and then we had a row of them on the front side of our home and well our son kinda took them out not meaning too with the rider…so he thought they were just old dried up dead weeds…so as far as this year goes we will not be having any of them beautiful peonies that we had the first year that we moved in…and for some, those flowers are considered to be so lovely…they use them in weddings and what not…but where I am going with this today is to this story in the bible and says that the Kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling into a far country…who calls his servants and delivers unto them his goods…but there was this one servant whom took his talent and did nothing with it…but he buried it…and the goodman had traveled back to see the servants and to check on them and see just how they were doing…and the other two that he had given talents to had down great things with their talents…but not the one servant…and the goodman was very displeased with him..and he said you could have a least given it to the bank in other words to receive interest other then doing nothing at all with it….Matthew 25:14-29…but it’s not so much as to speaking of material things here…it’s speaking of spiritual talents and gifts that we all have received from the Lord…for the Lord has given to each man a measure of faith..Romans 12:3…and to everyone He has called He as well has equipped..Hebrews 13:21…but what I’m getting at here today is this..kinda like them peonies that is buried in my yard..what a treasure they truly are to look at…and to admire…and I couldn’t help but ask the question to myself today and as well ask each of you the same question…and that would be this..do you have your talents buried?…or are you using them gifts and abilities that the Lord has equipped you with?…because we all have been bought with a great price..1 Corinthians 6:20…for as well the word of God say this,..Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:..Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it….Matthew 13:45-46..so what’s the purpose of these gifts and these talents that have been given..are they for us?…to magnify or try and glorify ourselves?…absolutely not!..the purpose is heaven…the purpose is to use what you’ve been blessed with to bring and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and Him crucified..so whatever your talent may be..no matter how big or small it is..always know that there is no sizes as to comparing gifts to another and what they’ve been given..because everything we do for the Lord matters…for even the the one talent that the man had left with his servant mattered..but the servant didn’t see that..so he buried it and he chose to hide it away..and my prayer for this day is simply this..I pray that whatever the Lord has given to you..I pray that you use it..and use it daily..cause as the Lord said to me..there is always a work that is needing to be done..we have no time to get lazy..we have no time to give in…and or to quit..because there is a work that’s needing to be done..and it only happens when everyone does their parts…for the movie we watched last night said this..how do you change the world?…doing one random act of kindness at a time!…so share your gifts..share your talents…share everything that the Lord has given and blessed you with..for we are not to be reservoirs..but we are to be streams of living water flowing always and continually for the Lord our God..being a blessing everywhere and anywhere it is that we may be..there is this song that goes like this…If you want more happy
than your heart will hold,.If you want to stand taller,
if the truth were told,
take whatever you have
and give it away.

If you want less lonely
and lot more fun
and deep satisfaction
when the day is done,
throw your heart wide open
