I think a lot of times, well probably more times then any of us would care to admit and that is that our past steals so much from our futures…it’s like somehow the regrets of yesterdays so to speak rob away from the foundation that we should be building upon today…if you can understand what I’m trying to say here…a lot live their lives on the past mistakes…the past failures…the past accomplishments…pretty much everything that they did way back when!…but what I’ve come to ask each of you this morning is what have you done now?…and what are you doing now?…today!..as far as are you thriving in your life today…for yesterday guys is already gone and it’s never going to be returned…but today it is a brand new day that’s been given…so are you living for today…because if you live for all of them yesterdays…then you miss out on a great big future and a great big and exciting life that the Lord has prepared for you…see each step and each journey is only there for each of us as a season..it’s a process of growing through all of them seasons in our lives…we don’t stay stuck on one season..Ecclesiastes 3:1…or maybe I should repharse that, we don’t stay stuck on one chapter in our lives….see our lives is a big book…and the Lord knows and as already written our stories…He knows whats ahead as well as what was behind but He uses them things as stepping stones as to where He is taking you…so I pray that you do not get stuck on one chapter of life….and that you are pursuing daily the goals and achievments that the Lord has already given and prepared as I said for you..and only you….for God has an amazing life for you…and it doesn’t matter your age…because the Lord uses us all…look at Abraham and Sarah..Genesis 18:13/Genesis 21:2…so age is just really a number when it comes to the greatness and the accomplishments that your yourself can accomplish for the Lord…so understand that your past is gone…never to return…so really let us quit talking about it…cause all that it does is keep you and your mindset stuck in the past….but let go of all of that…and grab on guys to this day…your future…because we can’t reach ahead and all the while hold on to them yester years…so let it go..and let God..we remember always..but we don’t live there…nor are we supposed to…for this is the day that the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it..Psalm 118:24…for God can’t make any of us choose to live a great life..or choose to accomplish the things that He has prepared for us..that is always left in our hands…we have free will…just like Adam and Eve did in the garden it wasn’t the Lords will for them to be thrown out of the garden..but they themselves chose to eat of the tree of life..and there were told not to do so…they had peace..they had joy..they had all the provisions for God had provided..but yet they chose to disobey the Lord..and chose to listen to that ole devil..and his sneeky sly self..and so they suffered the consequences for their actions…and were kicked out of the garden..and the Lord said to them..that Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;..Genesis 3:16-17…so always know that what you yourself choose is entirely up to you…but as well know that there is always fruit that will come forth from your choices..whether it’s good or whether it’s bad that lies entirely in each of our hands..no one makes us do anything..we all work out our own salvation the bible says with fear and trembling…Philippians 2:12..and we all should have such a reverence for the Lord as far as a fear of the Lord..because God is the ruler over us and our lives..and with what we choose to do…each of us ourselves is what lives were building for our selves..so build upon Jesus Christ that firm and solid foundation..1 Corinthians 3:11…don’t build your life on sinking sand..and don’t live your life in vain..but make it worth living..for we all daily have the same 24 hours..but it’s entirely up to us as to how we choose to live them 24 hours..and I pray that we live them to be thriving..to be good Godly examples..to be that encourager..to be that light shining ever so brightly for the Lord our God..for that’s what our lives is all about..living them crucified with Christ..Galatians 2:20…picking up our crosses and following Him…Luke 9:23..for He says to each of us…follow Me and I will make you fishers of men…Matthew 4:19..so hold on to Jesus..and live your life always to please Him..daily saying unto the Lord..here I am dear Lord use me!…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray!..Amen and Amen!..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
