Sometimes in all of our lives we have to step away from the computers, step away from the video games, step away from cell phones, from the tv sets, from the I-pads….and just kinda look up and look around at our lives…look at those family members, enjoy them outdoors, do that household chore that’s been needing to get done.. maybe go biking, walking, play a board game, or maybe even some cards…you know doing them things that we all kinda use to do before all of these new little gadgets came about and around…we all use to seem to make time and spend more quality time with them ones in whom were in our lives…and as well we all use to enjoy it..and them things that we did and use to do where meaningful things and helpful things..we use to go four wheeling in the mountains, we use to play in the creek…go hiking.. and walk, I think everyone use to walk and walk a lot…and we would go and visit our neighbors, friends and family…it seemed like we made the time back then, because we wasn’t pre entertained as we are now…and don’t get wrong I think those things are very helpful and good resources for each of us to have..and as well for us to enjoy them…but I also think that sometimes we all need to checkout our lives and make sure that those things aren’t just consuming up all of our time..and all the while we’re not making time for other important things in our lives…this morning the Lord kept speaking to me on the lines of stepping outside the four walls of your home and tearing down them walls in which try to build up in your life…considering our relationships and friendships…considering the fact that we are Gods hands and feet…you know Facebook and all of these other things are okay…but when they consume you and your time, and your life, and somehow stops you from having a real life, and having real relationships with others…then I believe it’s time to reevaluate just what all is going on in our lives, and just what all time we’re spending on them electronics to just how much we’re spending with people in our life…because people need people..for if we’re not careful the devil will steal away from us and our lives, he will isolate us from others and start and begin as I said building up walls, and walls of division and not at all walls of unity..for that’s his whole purpose in each of our lives, and that is to steal, kill and to destroy us..John 10:10..each of us..so make sure that your life is a life of productivity, that your not merely existing but your thriving and living..and living your life to the overflow and to the fullest, and living that life that Jesus died that we all could live..for the Lord came to give us an abundant life..John 10:10…Hallelujah!!…and guys, no one can really know who you are just by seeing a picture of you from time to time…for you see we all can be anyway we choose to be in this electronic world so to speak…but we all need more than just the electronic world..we need to be interacting with others, for we are and need to be the Lords hands and feet extended out there to people…we need more than just looking at an instagram photo from time to time..and as well we need more then just reading a post from time to time….we need communitcation….we need face to face conversations…because that is truly how we get to know another person…so my prayers is that all of us step outside the walls of our homes and take ourselves and get to getting busy going them places that the Lord would be guiding for each of us to go, and for each of us to be…because there is a work that needs to be done..and that work can’t be done by being consumed in our own little worlds never interacting with others…you know sharing our testimony..giving that love..lending that helping hand and so forth…so let us get going and let us get to getting busy picking up our crosses and following the Lord..Matthew 16:24…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray!
