The blessings of the Lord makes truly rich and He adds no sorrows with it…Proverbs 10:22…I can’t help but think about what all the Lord has done for me and my family..and how very far He has brought us…and how that the scripture that I had just wrote didn’t mean all that much to us years ago…because there wasn’t a lot of that no sorrow business going on in our life..we had loads of sorrow..and it seemed as if we got through one heartache right along came another one for us…but in the beginning we was not as strong as we are now in our walks with the Lord…for we were growing in the Lord…as yet we still are this day growing in the Lord…and I honestly believe that we will never stop growing in our walks with the Lord…but as well, as the scripture reads the end of a thing is way better than the beginning…Ecclesiastes 7:8…so as for us the beginning wasn’t all a bed of roses so to speak for Erik and I…we had to learn to trust in the Lord..and as the word says lean not unto our own understanding and in all of our ways acknowledge the Lord and that He would direct our pathways…Proverbs 3:5…we had to learn that God provides all of our needs according to His riches in glory..Philippians 4:19…we had to learn that if the Lord be for us than nothing can be against us..Romans 8:31…we had to learn that God never leaves us nor ever will He forsake us..Deuteronomy 31:8…and the big one was that we had to learn how to walk by faith and not by our sight..2 Corinthians 5;7….so yes as I wrote at beginning of this devotion…the blessings of the Lord makes truly rich and He adds no sorrows with it…because the sorrows will end…yes there may be weeping along the way in each of our lives…but as well the Lord says that weeping may endure for the night…but joy comes in the morning..Psalm 30:5…Oh, let us praise His name!!!…so life isn’t ever gonna be perfect…but a life lived for Jesus is the best life that any of us will ever live…for you see it’s not material possessions that makes one rich…and it’s not that big ole bank account that makes one rich….but what it is that makes us so rich in Christ…is knowing that we are His child…and knowing that our names are written down in the Lambs book of life…and knowing that we have love in our lives…knowing that we had good friends…knowing that we are just awesomely and wonderfully blessed of the Lord…for you see it’s not anything that this world has to offer that makes us blessed…but it’s all about what God almighty has to offer that makes each of us so wonderfully and gloriously blessed…and blessed abundantly are we…for He tells us not store up our treasures here on earth…but for us to store up our treasures in heaven, for He says where our treasure is there as well will be our hearts…Matthew 6:19-21..Praise the name of Lord!!…so let us stay looking upward, and let us all keep our eyes on Jesus going by our faint and not by our sight..for knowing that God is working and working everything together for our good..Romans 8:28…For we serve a great big God whom nothing at all is impossible for…Oh, let us all love Him and let us all praise Him…for He alone is worthy….In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!!
