The storm rages the most right before the calm…I am always reminded back to the story in the bible where Jesus had entered into a ship, and the word said that his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but He was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And He saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm….Matthew 8:23-26….and I always think that isn’t that the same with us…we as well are the Lords disciples, and we as well are to follow the Lord Jesus…and we do…but even when we follow and choose to follow…just like the story there will be storms…but we are to remember and we shouldn’t ever fear, knowing that we are with the Lord…cause just as He calmed that storm that was raging upon that sea that very night..and Jesus will as well, arise and rebuke the winds and them seas, that seem to be raging so fierce in our own lives…and than there will be as well a great calm…so I have come today to say this to us all…let none of us ever forget just who is in the boat of life with us…and that He is the Almighty…and as long as we know that Jesus is with us…than we have nothing at all to fear…we have nothing to be afraid of…and we have nothing to worry or fret ourselves over…because God says that there is not a word in on our tongues, that He doesn’t knowest it altogether…for He knows when we rise and He knows when we lay our heads down at night to rest…for the Lord our God has fearfully and wonderfully made us…Psalm 139:3-4/14….He says I know the thoughts that I think towards you…thoughts to give you a hope and a future…and to give us an expected end…Jeremiah 29:11…see guys the Lord came to give us a life and a life of abundance…John 10:10…but that ole devil he is always going about the word says seeking whom he may devour…so the Lord tells us to be sober, and be vigilant…1 Peter 5:8…He tells us to pray continually..1 Thessalonians 5:17..and He tells us to put on the whole armor of God…and daily put it on…Ephesians 6:10-18…so we are to be wiser than the enemy..for the Lord says He has made us wiser..Psalm 119:98…we know his tactics…we know when the devil is fighting…but as well we know that we are Gods child…and that God almighty…is the one whom fights our battles for us…so never forget whom is in your boat and your storm of life…for the winds may rage. and they may beat upon our houses…but they will not fall…because we have built our lives upon Jesus Christ that solid and firm foundation..Matthew 7:24:27….for the song says it like this…my boat of life sails on a troubled sea, whenever there’s a wind in my sails…but I have a friend who watches over me…when the breeze turns into a gail…I know the Master of the wind…I know the Maker of the rain…He can calm the storm, make the sun shine again…I know the Master of the wind….and we know Him..and He our Lord is faithful…and He is always on time…so hold on guys…cause Jesus Christ is about to rise up on our ships…and rebuke and calm those seas and winds…In Jesus’ name!!…Amen and Amen!!!
