You may think that you have nothing left to ever be able to give to the Lord, or to anyone else for that matter…through all of your brokeness, through all of the heartaches, through all of the loneliness…through every battle that you’ve been through…you may feel that nothing is there, and nothing is left…But I’ve come to remind ya that leftovers matter…everything we have no matter how little it may be to how big it may be…no matter what we have to offer, it matters…I was reminded of this yesterday…for I always feed the birds and the squirrels in my backyard…so I go out with whatever it is that may be leftover…pizza crust…old bread..crackers..rolls…anything really that I have I’ll take out and give to them…and as I was doing this yesterday morning the Lord begins to speak to me and He says leftovers matter…and I thought yes, Lord they do matter…and I came back into my home went over to the kitchen window because I stand there and watch them eat…and as soon as they here my screen door close they are there immediately feasting on those leftovers…It didn’t mean much to me and my family those things that we’re left…but they meant a lot to those little critters in my backyard…and they look forward to me bringing them those things every morning…and I enjoy doing so…cause it makes my heart smile…Erik, laughs at me because I have these 3 big crows that come and wait on me to feed them…and I love those crows…lol…it’s funny because their so smart that when they here my screen door close as I am coming out to feed them, they come and fly to this tree in the back of the property and wait for me to get finished and as soon as I walk away and they hear my screen door close, they are the first ones whom are there on that food…lol….but either way….I just thought that I would remind you guys today…that all of our leftovers, that we have in our lives..matter…we make think nothing of our talents, are gifts and those abilities that we have, those things that come easy for us…and that they don’t mean all that much…but they do..so it always takes me to this story in the bible when the Lord feed five thousand with just  five loaves of bread and a two small fishes that a young boy had for his lunch…but that afterwards…the Lord even had leftovers!!! Praise His name!!! the word of the Lord says that there were, 12 baskets gathered up, after the fact that those 5 thousand people had eaten…Matthew 14:20/ John 6:13/ Luke 9:17/ Mark 6:43…..see that’s the kind of God that we serve!!! He is there when we need Him we can always stand upon His word…cause that’s the kind of God that we serve!!!!…for little is much when God is in it!! labor not for wealth or fame, cause there’s a crown and you can win it, if you go, In Jesus’ name!!!
