Speaking to the ladies today….I tell ya, us women really do carry around a lot of extra baggage, we leave our home, we have our drink with us, our purse, maybe an umbrella, and of course our jacket, a scarf, a hat, maybe a few snacks…we have a load of keys, we have our list, we have the bills, coupons…and on and on it goes for us..pretty much everything as they say, but the kitchen sink!!..Lol!!…but this morning as I was leaving the house to go run a few errands I was thinking about how we do carry a lot of extra things on us…and maybe it’s because it’s our nature we always consider the possibility of maybe needing those items so we prepare ourselves, just in case…but than on a more serious note, I was thinking ladies I pray we don’t carry around a lot of extra things when it comes to our spiritual nature…that we don’t hold on to things trying to fix the problems that we may have all by ourselves…cause we are them care takers…we are them fixers…we want to help everyone..all the time…no matter if we know them or not…we will get right up in the conversation and give advice and try to give the help that’s needed if we can….but I pray that each of us watch just how much we are putting on our plates so to speak…cause were not meant to carry everyone’s burdens and or their problems…and were not meant to do everything, cause sometimes we take on way more than we can handle…and before long we will get wore down and wore out very quickly…and when that happens then we aren’t so happy about them things in which were doing…and or our we at our best because of these heavy things that were trying to fix or carry or take care of….so I pray that if that’s you this evening …than by all means please take those things and give them to Jesus…for He is our burden bearer…Galatians 6:1-5…and as we’ll He is our help..Psalm 54:4….so understand that the Lord tells us to cast our cares upon Him for He cares and loves us so..1 Peter 5:7….and that daily we are to seek out His will for our lives…asking Him to lead us, guide us and keep us…for God did promise not to give us more than we can handle..1 Corinthians 10:13…but we have to listen to what it is that He is wanting, and just what it is that He is saying….because if not we will get in way over our head…and sometimes when we do that…a lot of other issues and circumstances will arise in our life….so don’t be afraid to say no…and don’t be afraid to let things go and let God take them…for God will take care of them all….we can trust in Jesus….for He will never fail us..Deuteronomy 31:8…so let us listen to His still small voice speaking….and than let us obey whatever it is that He is saying….In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!!
