You know when your keeping yourself than it matters not so much as to what is going on around ya….cause when you keep yourself, and I mean keeping yourself free from this world and it’s ways, then all is well, all will be well with you and all will be well in your life….when we keep ourselves we know not to let things distract us from the Lord….we know that when we keep ourselves not to get caught up in gossip, and we as well know that when we keep ourselves that we don’t allow negativity to rest upon our lips or come out of our mouths…for the word of the Lord says that death and life are in the power of the tongue and that they that love it will eat the fruit thereof..Proverbs 18:21…see we know that we keep ourselves, we keep ourselves by praying and seeking out Jesus daily in our lives…and we know that we walk in His ways and in doing so we are keeping ourselves…we know that we do what the word of God says, and that will keep us guys….we know that we can’t go certain places and or do certain things…because as well we know that light and dark has no dwelling place together..2 Corinthians 6:14…and we as well know that we guard ourselves….because we do become whom we hang around with….to be a friend, yes we can be a friend and love everyone… but that doesn’t mean that we have to daily be in their presence…but what we do know is that we pray for them….I read a quote yesterday and it said this, if you want to stay on fire for God, than surround yourself with others who are burning…is that not so true…for the word of the Lord says, iron sharpens iron so a friend sharpens the countenance of his friend…Proverbs 27:17….so today make sure to pay attention to just what all it is that your doing…for everything we do has consequences…whether we like that or not…it is just a principle…see God lets it rain on the just and the unjust..Matthew 5:45…and as well we know that everything we sow we will reap..Galatians 6:7…so keep yourself….don’t let the world and it’s ways blind you…and don’t be like this world…for all that is in this world is the lust of the flesh, the love of money and the pride of life..1 John 2:16…and whatever we do we don’t want to be like that….see it says lay not up for yourselves treasures on this earth where moth and rust doeth corrupt, but it says for us to lay up our treasures in heaven, where neither moth or rust doeth corrupt for it says where our treasure is there as well will be our hearts..Matthew 6:19-21…always remember we all are just pilgrims and strangers passing through…this world is not our homes…so let us please Jesus with everything that we are…and as they say, don’t be no part time Christian when God Almighty isn’t no part time God…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen!!
