You always know when that ole devil is on the roar when he begins to bring up your past, past mistakes, past failures and so on and so on….when the past as they say begins to knock upon your door, than by all means let them knock, because it has nothing new to say, and it has nothing better to do, because the past knows no future so the past speaks of the past….and when you open that door up than you are asking as well for all of them old feelings and all of them old heart breaks and hurts to come flooding in over your heart and over your mind….the Lord tells us all to guard our hearts for out from them flows the issues of our life.Proverbs 4:23…and by reaching back and or by looking back you can never go forward….so surround yourself with people in whom is helping you to grow and to mature into this new creation that Christ is making for you to be..for the Bible says, therefore in any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are past away, behold all things are become new..2 Corinthians 5:17..you can’t hold to the past and expect somehow to be able to grab ahold of the new….you can’t keep them old mindsets and expect to have new ones…it just doesn’t happen….so by all means today and everyday that follows, let us live in the now….not the than…but the now….let us enjoy this day that God has given….for the word of the Lord says that this is the day in which the Lord hath made so let us rejoice and be glad in it..Psalm 118:24…and that each new morning Gods mercies are new..Lamentations 3:23…we are new beings in Christ Jesus our Lord….we are not the same as we were…and by speaking and living the past….than you stay right there in the past….and I pray that with everything in me….that none of us live there….it is not a pretty place to go back to….so let us let it go and let us grab the new, hold tightly to the Lord and reach for what’s up ahead of us….they say don’t keep looking in the rear view mirrow, and saying if only we would’ve done this, or if only we would’ve done that….cause the steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord..Psalm 37:23…for a man may make his plans, but it is the Lord in whom directs his footsteps..Proverbs 16:9…so where you are and what your doing is everything that our Father would be having for you to be doing….for the Lord says, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, for us to think upon them things..Philippians 4:6-9…so let us stay positive, let us stay walking, talking and leaning upon Jesus at all times…and let us all continually give thanks unto the Lord for that is His will concerning each of us..1 Thessalonians 5:18…to be thankful and to bless His name at all times..Psalm 34:1…so let us keep our eyes on Jesus….keep our minds holy, and keep our hearts clean and pure…Psalm 51:10…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!
